Haha. Hardly California. It's good old Hampton Beach in New Hampshire. It's still very early in the season so there was no one there. It was wonderful.

I'm quite used to beaches full of rocks and driftwood... that, and i've never been on an east coast beach before. I tend to equate all the pretty beaches with California, sadly enough, because those are the closest beaches that are worth going to. And yet they're still 20 hours away... :P

That's so sad. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't jump in the car and drive to the beach on a moments notice. It's not across the street, but it's only about 30 minutes away. It's nice. :-)

Actually, there's a beach about 20 minutes from my house - at least, where i live in the U.S. It's pretty and you can see the islands from it, but it's full of rocks and seaweed and driftwood and the water is cold as hell, even in the summer. The Seattle area isn't exactly known for its beaches. ;)
